What We Found

Your Business vs Your Website

Tapfreight has been operating out of Barnsley since 1989. Thirty-six years in UK and European freight, including hazardous goods — a specialism requiring significant accreditation and trust. ISO9001 certified. SQAS assessed. Members of both the United Pallet Network and the Hazchem Network. Blue-chip clients. Eighty-five employees. The website design hasn’t changed since approximately 2010 and the copyright year auto-updates to mask the true age of the site.

When a potential client or freight partner searches for hazardous freight and European groupage and lands on your website, they’re forming a judgement in seconds. Does this company look the part? Are they the right scale? Do they know what they’re doing? The current website doesn’t answer those questions convincingly — and that gap costs enquiries every week.

Alpha360 doesn’t ask you to brief a new website from scratch. We take everything you already have, keep what works, improve everything that doesn’t, and rebuild it on a proper platform. The content is yours. We make it look and perform the way it should.

Current Site — What We Found
  • Website design is unchanged since approximately 2010 — desktop-only layout
  • Copyright year auto-updates annually to disguise the true site age
  • ISO9001 and SQAS accreditations buried in body text — not displayed as trust credentials
  • Hazardous freight specialism — a differentiator requiring trust — presented with no visual impact
  • No fleet photography despite 85 employees and a significant operation
  • European network coverage not shown on any map or visual
  • No case studies or named industry sectors despite serving blue-chip clients
The New Site — What Changes
  • Clean, professional design that reflects the actual scale of the business
  • Mobile-first — properly designed for every device
  • Contact forms on every relevant page — phone, email, enquiry form all visible
  • Fast and optimised — built properly from the ground up
  • Accreditations and credentials shown prominently — not buried in body text
  • WordPress — editable by your team without needing a developer
  • Basic SEO foundations — page titles, meta descriptions, Google Search Console
Hazardous freight buyers are careful, compliance-focused decision-makers. They are evaluating trust before they pick up the phone. A website that looks like it was built in 2010 — however subtly — creates doubt at exactly the moment you need confidence. ISO9001 and SQAS should be the first things a visitor sees, not a line in a paragraph.

What We’d Build

Your Existing Site — Rebuilt Properly

We rebuild every page you currently have — keeping your content, your structure, your services — and make the whole thing look and work ten times better. No starting from scratch, no lengthy briefing process. You supply the content, we supply the craft.

01
Homepage
First impression rebuilt. hazardous freight and European groupage — your scale, your credentials, a clear route to getting in touch.
02
About
36 years of operating history. The team, the accreditations, the story that makes a buyer trust you before they call.
03
Services
Every service clearly laid out with a brief description. No clutter — what you do, where you operate, who you work with.
04
Fleet / Gallery
Your vehicles are a credibility statement. Properly showcased photography that tells a buyer exactly what they’re dealing with.
05
Contact
Phone, email, enquiry form, address. Every possible way to get in touch — on one fast, clear page.
+

What We Need From You

Not much. Your existing website gives us the structure we need. Any photos of your fleet or operations — even phone photos — are a bonus. If you have a logo file, great. If not, we work with what’s on the current site. Most communication can be handled by email — we keep things simple and won’t take up your time unnecessarily.
