Foxfurd.
Exceptional craft. A website to match.
Premium repositioning and lead generation — a new website built to reflect the quality of your work and convert more of the right enquiries.
What the Current Site Says About Foxfurd
Foxfurd builds structures that belong in architectural photography. Bespoke hardwood and aluminium orangeries. Grade I and II listed building specialists. Hand-crafted, individually designed, built to last generations. The product is exceptional. Robert Warrington personally manages every project from design through build. This is a genuinely premium offer.
The website does not reflect any of that. It looks like every other conservatory company in the country — the same generic layout, the same stock-photography feel, the same copy that could have been written for anyone. A prospect arriving at foxfurd.com today has no way of understanding that Foxfurd is categorically different from a uPVC double glazing firm. That disconnect is costing enquiries every day.
This isn’t a criticism of how the site was built — it was a reasonable starting point. But Foxfurd has outgrown it. The business has the credentials, the portfolio and the positioning to compete at the very top of the luxury home extension market. The website needs to catch up.
- Generic conservatory company template — no premium visual identity
- Copy undersells — phrases like “most affordable prices” actively contradict the luxury positioning
- Robert Warrington’s personal involvement barely mentioned — buried, not led with
- Listed building specialism not prominently featured — a genuine USP hidden in the small print
- No compelling case studies — portfolio exists but not presented as a sales tool
- Consultation CTA weak — no urgency, no process explanation, no trust-building
- Mobile experience poor — not designed for the device most visitors use
- No conversion tracking — no way to know which pages or traffic sources generate enquiries
- Distinct luxury visual identity — Foxfurd looks and feels premium from the first second
- Copy repositioned — every line reinforces bespoke craftsmanship and personal service
- Robert Warrington’s personal directorship made central — a genuine differentiator
- Listed building expertise featured prominently — own the category no competitor can match
- Case studies rebuilt as flagship pages — before, during, after — the full story
- Consultation process clearly explained with friction removed — more enquiries, better qualified
- Mobile-first design — beautiful on every screen
- Full conversion tracking — every enquiry source identified and measured
The Market Foxfurd Should Own
The Oxfordshire, Home Counties and Cotswolds market for bespoke high-end home extensions is among the strongest in the UK. Property values are high, homeowners invest in quality, and the buyer is typically affluent, design-conscious and prepared to spend £30,000–£100,000+ on a well-executed orangery or conservatory.
This buyer — the owner of a period property in the Cotswolds, the retired professional with a Georgian farmhouse in Oxfordshire — is making a significant decision. They are not shopping on price. They are looking for someone they can trust with their home, ideally someone who has done this before on buildings exactly like theirs. They research carefully. They look at the website. They read the case studies. They want to feel confident before they pick up the phone.
Foxfurd is almost perfectly positioned for this buyer. The listed building specialism alone eliminates most competitors. The bespoke hardwood and aluminium offering, the direct involvement of Robert Warrington, the Oxfordshire base — all of it is exactly right. The gap is that the website doesn’t make the buyer feel it. It doesn’t make them lean forward and think: this is the company I want to call.
A better website works on two levels simultaneously. Alpha360’s approach addresses both in every page we build:
- Premium repositioning — the visual identity, the copy tone, the case study presentation, the photography treatment all combine to position Foxfurd as the definitive choice for discerning homeowners. Not one of many options — the obvious choice. This affects price tolerance: buyers who perceive quality are less price sensitive and more likely to convert at higher project values.
- Lead generation optimisation — every page is built to convert. Clear calls to action. The consultation process explained step by step so the prospect knows exactly what happens when they get in touch. Trust signals (testimonials, accreditations, case studies) placed at the exact moments in the buyer journey where doubt typically arises. Tracking installed so every enquiry source is identified.
What We’d Build — Page by Page
The new foxfurd.com is a complete rebuild on WordPress — the same platform, fully updated, designed from the ground up to Foxfurd’s new positioning. It is not a reskin of the current site. Every page is reconceived, rewritten and rebuilt with a clear purpose: to attract the right buyer, hold their attention, and give them everything they need to choose Foxfurd with confidence.
- Above the fold: One full-width photography hero — Foxfurd’s most impressive project. The headline leads with the personal director line. Single, clear CTA: Book a Free Consultation.
- Service categories: Orangeries. Conservatories. Listed Buildings. Three cards, each with photography and a single-sentence description. No copy clutter.
- Featured case study: One flagship project given premium treatment — full photography, project brief, the challenge, the solution, client quote. This is the centrepiece trust-builder.
- Robert Warrington section: Photo, direct quote, and a clear explanation of what personal directorship means in practice. This is Foxfurd’s most distinctive differentiator — it gets its own section on the homepage.
- The consultation process: Four simple steps from first contact to build complete. Removes the anxiety of making an enquiry. Dramatically improves conversion.
Each product category gets its own dedicated page — not a sub-menu item, a full page. Each page follows the same structure: hero image, what makes Foxfurd’s approach distinctive for this product type, materials and specification options, a relevant case study, FAQs specific to that product, and a consultation CTA. Listed Buildings gets its own standalone page — this is a genuine specialism that competitor sites do not have and a major SEO opportunity.
The portfolio rebuilt as a proper editorial showcase. Each completed project becomes a standalone case study page: the property type, the brief, the design process, photography at each stage, the completed project, and the client’s words. These pages serve two purposes — they convert visiting buyers who see their own situation reflected, and they rank in search for terms like “orangery on listed building Oxfordshire” and “bespoke conservatory Cotswolds”.
The story of Foxfurd told properly. The family business origins. The decision to remain small and personal — Robert Warrington’s involvement on every project — positioned not as a limitation but as the reason Foxfurd’s work is exceptional. The craftsmen. The materials sourced. The quality control. This page turns a potential objection (why not a larger company?) into a reason to choose Foxfurd.
The consultation page is where the sale begins. It needs to do three things: explain the process so the prospect knows exactly what to expect; capture enough information in the form to allow Robert Warrington to prepare properly; and reassure the prospect that booking a consultation is the first step in a considered design conversation, not the beginning of a sales pitch. Clear, warm, confident.
What the New Foxfurd Looks Like
The design language is editorial luxury — the aesthetic of a high-end architecture or interiors publication, not a home improvement website. Clean, considered, generous white space, large photography, refined typography. The kind of website that makes a Cotswolds homeowner feel they’ve found the right level.
A classical serif display font — something in the tradition of the architectural drawings that inspire Foxfurd’s work — paired with a clean, refined sans-serif for navigation and body text. The combination reads as authoritative without being cold. Headlines are large, unhurried, confident. Body copy is readable and clear. Nothing competes with the photography.
A restrained palette anchored in the materials of the craft. Deep forest green and natural stone — the colours of oak, of Cotswold limestone, of the gardens these structures overlook — with a warm gold accent. White space used generously. No busy backgrounds, no gradient overlays, no stock-photography clutter. The photography does the work.
The existing Foxfurd project photography is presented poorly on the current site — small thumbnails, no context, no story. The new site treats every project image as an asset. Full-width hero crops. Careful art direction for case study pages — wide establishing shots, detail close-ups, interior atmosphere. If additional photography is needed for specific projects, Alpha360 can advise on brief and direct a photographer.
The majority of Foxfurd’s visitors arrive on mobile. The current site is not designed for this — navigation is clunky, forms are frustrating, photography doesn’t translate. The new site is designed mobile-first. The consultation CTA is always within thumb reach. The case studies scroll beautifully on a phone screen. The contact form is simple and fast to complete.
Turning Visitors Into Enquiries
A beautiful website that generates no enquiries is a missed opportunity. Every design and copy decision in the new Foxfurd site is made with conversion in mind — not at the expense of the premium aesthetic, but woven into it. The two are not in conflict. A well-designed, clearly structured site with clear calls to action converts better than a cluttered one.
The single highest-impact change Alpha360 makes to most luxury service websites is explaining the process. Buyers are hesitant to make an enquiry because they don’t know what happens next. Will there be a hard sales call? Will someone turn up unannounced? How long does the design process take? Answering these questions — clearly, warmly, before the prospect asks — removes the hesitation that kills conversions. The new Foxfurd site explains the full journey from first contact to completed project in four simple, reassuring steps.
Every page is structured to answer the question a buyer has at that moment in their journey. Testimonials placed immediately after the service description. Case studies positioned after the consultation process explanation. Accreditations and memberships visible in the footer on every page. Robert Warrington’s credentials and personal involvement stated clearly — not as a boast but as a statement of what the client can expect.
The new website makes the Google Ads investment already in place significantly more effective. When a prospect clicks a Foxfurd ad for “bespoke orangery Oxfordshire” and lands on a premium, conversion-optimised page that immediately confirms they’ve found the right company — the click converts. The same ad driving traffic to the current site converts at a fraction of that rate. The redesign pays for itself through improved ad performance.
- Google Analytics 4 — full implementation, with events tracking for page views, form starts, form completions, telephone click-throughs and time on page for key content
- Google Ads conversion tracking — every consultation booking and contact form submission attributed to the campaign and keyword that drove it
- Monthly reporting — traffic by source, enquiries by page, cost per enquiry, Google Ads performance by keyword
From Instruction to Launch — 8 Weeks
After Launch
Once the site is live the project is complete. Tracking is in place, the site is performing, and Foxfurd has a new digital presence that reflects the quality of the work. If ongoing support — Google Ads management, SEO content, or site development — would be useful at that point, Alpha360 can discuss that separately. There’s no obligation built into this project.
What This Costs — and How It Works
The redesign is priced as a standalone project at £3,000 + VAT — a fixed fee covering everything from discovery through to launch. To make the investment straightforward, Alpha360 structures the payment across six months. The project is complete at month six with no ongoing obligation — though ongoing support is available if needed.
