Outcome Proposal · DT Fire Systems · Alpha360 Digital

Your business has
moved. Your website
hasn’t.

A 90-day plan to close the gap between the calibre of DT Fire Systems’ commercial work and how the digital presence communicates it — at £250 a month, no setup fee, no fixed contract.

02 — What we noticed

You’ve built a business that major brands trust. Your website hasn’t kept up.

DT Fire Systems has spent 19 years quietly building a portfolio most fire and security companies can only dream of. The work has moved forward. The site that’s supposed to communicate it hasn’t.

Boeing. Sony. DoubleTree by Hilton. 67 Pall Mall. NG Bailey. ISS. The Cathedral Square campus delivering for RBS, Coutts and Avaya in a single 115,000 sq ft project. That’s not a typical small fire and security business client list — it’s a corporate credibility stack that would anchor the homepage of any agency-built site costing thousands a month.

On the current dtfiresystems.co.uk site, those names appear as small circular bubbles below a stock photo of a blue sky. Eight serious accreditations sit in a single grey strip. The one detailed case study — Cathedral Square — is hidden in a panel that doesn’t shout. Nothing on the homepage tells the visiting prospect this is a business that has been trusted by Boeing.

“Your website was right when it launched. It probably isn’t anymore — not because anything’s broken, but because the business has moved forward and the site hasn’t.”

What that costs, specifically.

Existing clients found you through referral, relationship, project pipeline. They don’t need the website to convince them — they already know what DT Fire delivers. But the next major corporate facilities manager, the next office fit-out specifier, the next building safety officer evaluating contractors for a Building Safety Act compliant install — they will find you via Google or via a referral they then verify online. And the website they land on undersells the business they’re trying to evaluate.

What DT Fire actually is

Tier-one corporate fire and security partner

  • 19 years independent (since 2007)
  • Boeing, Sony, Hilton, 67 Pall Mall in portfolio
  • 115,000 sq ft Cathedral Square project
  • BAFE SP203-1, SSAIB, FIA, CHAS Advanced
  • Kentec Installation Partner, Simpro asset management
  • In-house Fire Risk Assessor capability
  • 24/7 emergency response, 365 days
  • Operational maturity built for corporate
What the website communicates

Generic small fire and security business

  • “Welcome to DT Fire Systems” stock-photo hero
  • Client logos as tiny circular bubbles
  • Accreditations as a single grey strip
  • Cathedral Square buried mid-page
  • No proper case study library
  • Service pages thin on commercial depth
  • Two blog posts total, dead LinkedIn
  • No sector-specific positioning

This isn’t a criticism. It’s the predictable outcome when a competent web build from years ago freezes in place while the business behind it moves on. Every fire and security business with a properly competent build done at some point ends up here eventually. The fix isn’t another rebuild — it’s making sure the site is kept in sync with the business from now on.

There’s a second dimension worth mentioning. AI search.

Commercial facilities managers in 2026 increasingly start their research on AI assistants — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude — asking questions like “who installs BS5839 commercial fire alarms in Surrey?” or “BAFE-accredited fire safety contractors for office fit-outs in London” — before they ever open Google. The AI answers them by synthesising from publicly available, well-structured web content.

To surface in those answers, a website needs to be structured in specific ways: clear factual content, proper schema markup, well-defined service pages, FAQ structures, sector pages with explicit signal. The current DT Fire site does very little of this — which means it’s largely invisible to AI search surfaces. When a facilities manager asks ChatGPT for fire safety contractors in your patch, your competitors come up. You don’t. It’s the same problem as the Google one, but in a newer place — and one most fire and security businesses haven’t started thinking about yet, which is precisely why doing it now is a competitive edge.

03 — The opportunity

The maths of one additional corporate contract per year.

We don’t need aspirational numbers to make the case. Conservative maths attached to the existing calibre of DT Fire’s work is more than enough.

Looking at the calibre of clients already in the portfolio — multi-tenant office campuses, hospitality groups, aerospace, financial services HQs — a single additional corporate-tier installation contract per year is the relevant unit. Not weekly enquiries, not transformational growth. Just one more.

Unit

One additional commercial fire alarm installation contract per year, at the calibre your existing portfolio suggests (mid-size corporate office, hotel, or commercial fit-out).

1 / year
Install value

Conservative average for BS5839-1 compliant fire alarm install on a mid-size commercial premises (5,000–20,000 sq ft), excluding the Cathedral-Square-scale outliers.

£25,000 – £40,000
Maintenance

Annual maintenance contract attached to install. Compounds across multiple years — typical commercial contract runs 5–10 years before any change of provider.

£3,000 – £8,000 p.a.
3-year value

Install plus three years of maintenance from a single additional corporate contract per year. The kind of contract referrals already produce — this is just the next one that came via Google instead of a phone call.

£34,000 – £64,000
Annual cost of fix

Managed Presence with Alpha360 at £250/month covers website rebuild, monthly improvements, content production, ongoing optimisation, hosting and support.

£3,000 / year
Return on investment

Even at the bottom of the range — £25k install plus three years’ maintenance at £3k — one additional corporate contract returns roughly 11× the annual cost of Managed Presence. Realistically the ratio is higher.

11× – 21×

Maths is built on industry-standard pricing for BS5839-1 L1 fire alarm installations on mid-size UK commercial premises and on commercial maintenance contract values. Single Cathedral-Square-scale projects (£75k+ installs) sit well above this range and would significantly improve the multiplier. Numbers are deliberately conservative because we’d rather under-promise.

The real point isn’t the multiplier. It’s that the work to make the digital presence communicate what DT Fire actually is, ongoing, costs less than the ongoing maintenance contract on a single small fire alarm system. The investment is paid for by any reasonable outcome and entirely transformed by genuine ones.

04 — The plan

What the first 90 days would actually look like.

No theatrics. No relaunch. A structured 90-day plan that closes the gap visible from outside the business, then sets up the rhythm that keeps it closed.

Month 02 · Substance

Case studies

Build out the depth that proves the breadth
  • Cathedral Square written up as full case study
  • Two further case studies sourced from your project history
  • Sector pages built: hospitality, financial services, aerospace, FM, offices, schools
  • Service page content deepened with sector specifics
  • Building Safety Act / Regulatory Reform compliance content for visiting facilities managers
  • Trust pages: about, team, certifications, careers
Month 03+ · Rhythm

Ongoing

Site stays in sync with the business, monthly
  • New project completions added as case studies
  • New accreditations or certifications surfaced
  • Sector-specific content for SEO and authority
  • Team changes, new hires, expanded coverage
  • Quarterly site review against business reality
  • AI search visibility tracking — monitoring DT Fire’s presence in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini
  • Ongoing technical maintenance and performance
  • Light-touch LinkedIn presence (optional)

Month one is the work that the existing site needed two years ago. Month two is the depth that makes corporate facilities managers shortlist DT Fire over competitors. Month three onwards is the ongoing rhythm that keeps the site in sync with the business as new projects complete, new accreditations land and new sectors open up. That’s what Managed Presence actually is.

05 — What’s included

£250 a month. No setup fee. No contract.

Everything in the plan above, plus everything ongoing. One price covers the rebuild, the case studies, the monthly work and the technical foundations. The first month covers the build — there’s no separate setup fee.

How it works in plain English

The first month’s £250 acts as the deposit and covers the build itself — there’s no separate setup fee on top. From month two onwards, £250 covers everything ongoing. We work on a six-month review cycle then rolling monthly thereafter — if at any point it’s not working for you, you give a month’s notice and it stops. No exit fees, no contract trap.

Most clients have stayed for years because the site keeps working and they don’t have to think about it. Our average client has been with us for nearly a decade. Our longest, 17 years.

Worth mentioning

Google Ads sit outside this proposal — by design.

This proposal covers the website doing its job properly. If at any point you decide you want to actively drive new commercial enquiries beyond what’s already coming through — through Google Ads on terms like “commercial fire alarm installation Surrey” — that’s a separate conversation. We run a campaign of exactly that kind for Scope Fire & Security, and could do the same for DT Fire if and when commercially relevant. Not a part of this proposal. Just so you know it’s an option.

06 — About Alpha360

The agency you want for this is one that stays.

Alpha360 isn’t a project-based agency. We don’t build websites and walk away. We look after the digital presence of small and medium businesses in trades and industrial sectors, long-term, on a monthly retainer model that keeps the site moving with the business.

17yrs

Independent, Manchester-based, founder-run. Same agency, same approach, same person on the phone for nearly two decades.

10yrs

Average client tenure. Our longest is 17 years. Multiple at 12–15 years. This is what happens when an agency stays.

£250

Per month covers everything. Same price across the book. No tiers, no upsells, no quarterly renegotiations.

Specifically relevant: fire and security.

We’ve spent the last three years building deep expertise in fire and security through our work with Scope Fire & Security in the North West. Full website, Google Ads management, ongoing monthly improvements. We understand the sector — BAFE, SSAIB, FIA, the BS standards, the difference between Category L1 and L4, the commercial pressures of multi-site rollouts, the operational realities of 24/7 callout.

Most agencies pitching a fire and security business have to learn the sector from scratch. We’ve already done that learning. That shows up in the work — the language is right, the priorities are right, the trust signals are weighted the way the industry expects them to be.

Sector reference

Scope Fire & Security

North West fire and security business. Full website plus active Google Ads management since 2023. Commercial fire alarm install campaign generates measurable monthly enquiries from BAFE-aware commercial buyers. Reference available on request — happy to introduce you to the owner.

Sector longevity

Trades & industrial client book

Affordable Skips (17 years), Hardcore Crushing (15 years), Steptoes (15 years), Moorfield (15 years), KDT (15 years), MJ May (12 years). The kind of businesses that don’t switch agencies often — and the kind that pick agencies who understand owner-operator realities.

We won’t be the cheapest option. We’re not the most expensive either — there’s a whole tier of London agencies who’d quote £2,000–£5,000 a month for what we cover at £250. They have account managers, junior teams, billable-hour models. We don’t. You’d be working with Mark directly, on every email and call, for as long as you’re a client.

07 — Next step

Twenty minutes by phone — and the demo is yours either way.

If the direction of the demo and the maths of the proposal make sense, the next step is a short call. Twenty minutes, by phone, no slides, no agenda. Walk through what you’ve seen, answer your questions, see if there’s a fit. If there is — we work out a start date. If there isn’t — no further contact, no pressure, and the demo stays yours to use however you’d like.
